Delta-Northwest Airlines Flight 253 was on the runway after arriving at Detroit Metropolitan Airport from Amsterdam on Friday, December 25, 2009. According to a report in The New York Times, “A Nigerian man tried to ignite an explosive device aboard a trans-Atlantic Northwest Airlines flight as the plane prepared to land in Detroit on Friday, in an incident the United States believes was “an attempted act of terrorism,” according to a White House official who declined to be identified. The so-called Detroit jet terrorist attack was staged, according to a report by Russia Today (RT) disclosing a massive failed security caper.
Another massive security failure was reported when Tareq and Michaele Salahi waltzed past the US Secret Service (or were given a free pass) to attend a State Dinner party, November 24, 2009, at the White House. However, the same couple were stopped in their limo by the Secret Service on Wednesday night (May 19, 2010) a few blocks from the White House, officials suspect they were trying to crash another Obama state dinner - this time in honor of Mexico's president. Less than an hour after posting this update on the story, at 4:10 PM Thursday, President Obama announced in an exclusive ABC News story, he will replace the Director of National Intelligence, Admiral Dennis Blair, "because of the dissatisfaction of President Obama and the National Security Staff had with Blair’s ability to share intelligence in a tight, coherent and timely way."
Finally, ...
Those
security failures followed the airline bombing of the World Trade Center
in New York City, Sept. 11, 2001. Many years have passed since the U.S. launched Operation Enduring
Freedom in order to destroy al-Qaeda and the Taliban government that harbored
the group. It was supposed to be a swift and decisive victory
until the
U.S.
botched an effort to nab bin Laden
in late 2001 in Afghanistan's Tora Bora region. His trail has since gone cold, and everything has gone wrong.
Betrayal and Treason Against the American and
Muslim Peoples, carried out by the CIA and Mossad – Intelligence Agencies of the United States of America and the
State of Israel -- was alleged in an uncorroborated interview of former Italian President Francesco Cossiga, who had an
extensive security background, published in the leading Italian newspaper
Corriere della Sera, Nov 30, 2007.
Below is an English language translation by Google of pertinent sections of the interview:
Commenting on a video montage produced in the studios of the Media set in Milan
and broadcast on the Islamic Al Jazeera network, in which Osama Bin Laden appears, Francesco Cossiga, President
Emeritus of the Republic of Italy states in pertinent part: “... non-authenticity of the video is evidenced by the
fact that Osama Bin Laden in it 'confesses' that Al Qaeda was the author of the assassination 11 September at two
towers in New York, while all ... now know well that the disastrous attack was planned and carried out by the American
CIA and the Mossad with the help of the Zionist world order [to] accus[e] the Arab countries and to induce the Western
powers to intervene in Iraq and in Afghanistan...”
Another
independent report states:
"(A)ny serious, detailed, and independent investigation into the events of 9/11 will reveal that the actual forces behind the conception, planning, and execution of this seminal event came not from bearded Islamic extremists living in a cave in Afghanistan, but from within high-level rogue elements of our own government."
These reports have been emphatically confirmed by Dr. Alan Sabrosky, former director of studies of the Strategic Studies Institute at the US Army War College, who stated March 14, 2010 in an online Video:
"it is 100 percent certain that 9/11 was a Mossad operation. Period."
These incidents informed President Obama. Control over internal security of the USA is inexistent. The security agencies are busy playing capitalist games, distributing lucrative contracts, and invading citizens privacy to assist "big money" terrorism, without real security goals. Effective control over the security agencies – the US Secret Service, FBI, the Homeland Security Agency, and the National Security Agency – must be a top security priority, strictly enforced. This is the security context for decisive action to deal with the radical right wing Bush cabal at the US Supreme Court, and their treason to the US Constitution.
The Obama administration Thursday 27 May, 2010, unveiled its new national security strategy, recognizing the need for military force but as a last resort and stressing the need to increase international diplomatic cooperation. In a speech Wednesday, top counter-terrorism advisor John Brennan previewed the new strategy, saying "it makes the problem of home-grown terrorists a top priority" because an increasing number of individuals in the U.S. have become 'captivated by extremist ideology or causes.'
This is a major shift away from the Bush doctrine for a "war on terrorism" but the new strategy signals no turn away from the ever expanding global military-industrial establishment. What a monster on the President's strong shoulders: more than 700 foreign bases and military expenditures that dwarf the world, while American school budgets are shrinking, to enable our "Peace President" to intimidate the whole world with our superpower capacity to engage in global mass murder, underscoring the sheer lunacy of the continuing return to barbarity.
In the same spirit of barbarism designed to tell the world, including the United States, the decisions of Israel that directly affect its neighbors, must be obeyed, now comes the Israeli commando attack in International Waters, at 4:30 AM, June 1, 2010, on the Gaza Peace Flotilla. This action is to defend the inhumane siege and blockade of Gaza, instituted after the democratic election of the radical Islamic movement Hamas, in 2006, by a large majority in the new Palestinian parliament, and their takeover of the Gaza Strip, in 2007. The Gaza Peace Flotilla was carrying a cargo of humanitarian aid to break the 3-year blockade of Gaza, which has been condemned by the UN Council of Elders as "one of the world’s greatest human rights violations."
A number of governments and commentators have voiced their support of Israel's right to self defense, noting the initial attack by Israeli naval commandos as they landed on the Turkish ship, the Mavi Marmara, lowered by ropes from helicopters onto the decks. "At that point, the operation seems to have gone badly wrong. Israeli officials say that the soldiers were dropped into an ambush and were attacked with clubs, metal rods and knives." The deadly response by Israeli naval commandos to this humanitarian mission has produced global outrage, published by Aljazeera, June 3, 2010. Reuters reported, Monday May 31, 2010, at least nine pro-Palestinian activists were killed. More than 600 others were kidnapped, including 15 international reporters who were prevented from filing their stories by a nation that claims to be the beacon of democracy in the Mideast, triggering a diplomatic crisis and an emergency session of the U.N. Security Council. There is no claim the Israeli aggression in the dead of night in International Waters -- a surprise attack -- was needed to defend against any action of the Gaza Peace Activists to break the inhuman siege and blockade of Gaza. The Israeli aggression was needed only to enforce their blockade, which has met with intense international condemnation. Richard Falk, Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory, reported "Israel is guilty of shocking behavior by using deadly weapons against unarmed civilians on ships that were situated in the high seas where freedom of navigation exists, according to the law of the seas." Mr. Falk characterized the blockade of Gaza as a "massive form of collective punishment" that is tantamount to a crime against humanity.
An attempt to maintain the status quo in the Middle East is clearly not sustainable. America is the lead actor, but paralyzed. Why? We must ask, is America fearful of the Lunatic State of Israel, touched with lunacy itself, or paralyzed by lack of democratic creativity?
The blockade of Gaza was deplored by U.S. Secretary of State, Hillory Clinton, June 1, 2010, as "unsustainable and unacceptable."
This is the moment for a fundamental culture change, as the June 3, 2010 Time/CNN report by Martin Indyk, the director of foreign policy at Brookings indicates:
Given the mess we're in today, success seems unlikely. But a severe crisis forces leaders to recalculate the costs of the status quo and perhaps recognize the need for a fundamental change of direction. If Obama doesn't test this opportunity, there's a good chance that the battle over the Gaza fleet will sink his own Israeli-Palestinian peace boat.
Indeed, put to the test of global condemnation, "U.S.-Turkey relations" are going "over a cliff" reports The New York Times, Op-Ed Columnist Thomas L. Friedman, June 15; the blockade of Gaza has "been ripped wide open" according to an editorial published June 10, 2010 in Haaretz.com, and Israel has been the target of massive international criticism with demands for an investigation. Bowing to international criticism of the entire blockade of gaza, as an illegal punsihemt of the 1.5 million Palestinians, "in clear violation of Israel’s obligations under international humanitarian law" Israel agreed to reopen crossing points into Gaza for everyday goods, June 14, although ambiguities in the new policy produced skeptics in the international community according to AlJazeera, June 17, 2010.
The idea that drives the war poicy of the mad State of Israel is the lingering mental image remaining frozen in the mortal threat of the day following the Holocaust, insists Ami Ayalon, former Commander-in-Chief of Israeli Navy, and Former Director of Shin Bet (Israel's internal security service). The future obviously must be cast in a different image, or peace is but a delusion.

"Of life madness is an inseparable and sometimes a predominant part," wrote George Santayana, "every living body is mad in so far as it is inwardly disposed to permanence when things about it are unstable, or is inwardly disposed to change when, the circumstances being stable, there is no occasion for changing. That which is virtue in season is madness out of season, as when an old man makes love ..." (G. Santayana, Dialogues in Limbo, III. Normal Madness 41 (1925)
One can build a better existential future only with a desireable image of this possibility. But that image remains to be designed by Israel and their directly affected neighbors, with the critical assistance, or compelling demand, of a trusted outsider. Here is the critical need suggested by Ami Ayalon: "there’s no wind strong enough to take you where you’re going when you have no idea where you’re headed".. Can this pair of mad complicit warriors, Israel and the United States, break free of their barbaric pathologies armed to the teeth for eternal war, to rigorously pursue peace? Warriors can together always pursue war or peace. The creative way forward will be found in deep engagement for The Pursuit of Wisdom and Democracy.

This map should, pehaps, be expanded to include other interested countries e.g.,
Iran and Turkey.
Note that Israel is like a tiny island in a sea of Arab countries.
Anonymous quote:
If the Arabs (Moslems) put down their weapons today there would be no more violence. If the Israelis put down their weapons today there would be no more Israel.
Think about it...
One critical clue to the historical state of conflict that exists between Zionist Israel and its Middle East, North Africam, and Arabic Neighbors during much of the past half-century, derives from the inescapable interdependency in which all human societies exist. This fact of life leads to the Erroneous Priorities Effect (EPE), discovered by systems sciences. The EPE states:
Whenever the elemental observations (problems, objectives, actions) made by stakeholders in the context of a complex socio-political design situation are interdependent, assigning priorities for action on the basis of aggregating individual stakeholder voting on the relative importance of the statements, leads to erroneous priorities and ineffective actions. The effective priorities for action emerge after an evolutionary search of interdependencies among the observations through a dialogue focusing on voting on the influences among the statements.

In short, any person or community that relies upon their independent subjective judgment for setting priorities, will soon fall victim to the spurious character of their priorities, which will make their goals impossible to fulfill when they are affected by the inescapable influences of interdependencies with their neighbors within which they must exist. Can the goal of Zionist Israel survive these realities?
The historical answer to this question is a resounding no. Continuing the Zionist values and plan for the future, driven by an even more hard line Israeli Government desperately seeking to vindicate the failed Political Zionist ideal, even by assassination and mass murder of anyone who gets in the way, such as the Gaza Peace activists, is unlikely to change the situation. Albert Einstein (1879-1955) gave this definition of insanity: "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a new result."
When Chaim Weizmann, the first President of Israel and an old friend of Einstein's, died in 1952 Einstein was offered the Presidency. He regretfully declined, writing: "I am deeply moved by the offer from our State of Israel, and at once saddened and ashamed that I cannot accept it." While Einstein was a secular Jew and a Cultural Zionist – he supported the establishment of Jewish cultural centers within Palestine and elsewhere – but "he opposed the establishment of a Jewish state with borders and an army, and he never wavered from arguing forcefully for equal rights and equal power for the Arabs whom he called 'kinfolk' of the Jews." Einstein well understood the principle of interdependency that governs world human affairs.
The problem of Political Zionism is not limited to the Jews of Israel. All over the world including the United States, the Aristocracy claws for authority over the lives of ordinary citizens, and other threatening outsiders, robbing them of their property, their liberty, and their very lives. Is there a cure for this human affliction? In Israel, HAARETZ.com reported June 17, 2010 Defense Minister Ehud Barak has stressed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other members of the forum of seven senior ministers that Israel must put forth a "daring and assertive political initiative" in the coming months to emerge from its international isolation of the past year. In the United States, prospects for Americans wising up, may be on the horizon, recognizing the need for a "New Story" and discovering the domain of true democracy.
