The Bessie Harvey Homepage is a collaborative effort undertaken by the Knoxville Museum of Art; Austin-East High School; IPIX; and SunSITE@UTK, a project of Telecommunications and Network Services, University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The Project has three main goals:
- To create a comprehensive online resource about Bessie Harvey and her works;
- To demonstrate how museums and schools can use art exhibits to further art education; and
- To demonstrate how museum administrators and curators can use new and emerging technologies to represent traditional collections online.
