This program is a rewrite of the older CabriGeometre (a demo of this is also
available at the Mathematics Archives). The newer program is considerably more
powerful and the demo is less restrictive. This demo does not allow saves, but
every other feature seems to function.

The basic constructions are point, line, point on object, intersection of
two objects, circle, arc, and conic. The latter allows you to place 5 points
on the worksheet and move them around to see how the conic section passing
through those points changes. The equation of the objects can also be displayed
so that you can see coefficients change, mixed terms appear or disappear, and
other changes in the equation as you modify points or the entire object.

It is also possible to construct parallel lines, perpendicular lines, midpoints,
perpendicular bisector, angle bisector, and vector sum using simple menu
selections.

Transformations supported by menu options are translation, rotation, dilation,
reflection, symmetry, and inverse. Queries available on the menu are collinear,
perpendicular, parallel, equidistant, and membership. Computations are
distance and length, area, slope, angle, equation and coordinates. There also
is a built-in calculator/spreadsheet.

This is an inviting teaching tool. Tested using a PowerMac 7100 using
system 7.5.1.
