The PEPNet-South Louisiana-Texas Outreach site is located at Louisiana State University. The outreach site staff members work with faculty and staff from colleges, universities, and technical vocational programs; faculty and staff from secondary educational programs; personnel from vocational rehabilitation and other community agencies; deaf and hard of hearing students and their parents; and other interested individuals. They provide services and products to postsecondary educational programs, enabling them to build their capacity to effectively serve students who are deaf and hard of hearing. Interaction with deaf students, their parents, and secondary program faculty and staff provides an opportunity to more fully address transition issues.
