The purpose of this workshop is to present strategic models for better understanding conflict
and confrontation, and for acting in interpersonal crisis situations. Using a behavioral fra
mework, participants will learn a strategy of plans and micro-skills based on a hierarchic
al model of responsive strategies designed to responsibly avoid and manage crisis situat
ions. The goal of the workshop is for each participant to develop an immediately applicab
le plan appropriate to their professional situation to better deal with these inevitable pro
blems in a way that reduces the potential consequences to the student, themselves, and ot
hers.
