This article may be of interest to all those who work with Deaf students in either a secondary or post-secondary educational situation. A video, "How to Use Interpreters in College," describes the differences in using an interpreter in high school vs. the college setting. The difficulties students may face in making the transition to college was discussed. Information was included on how to prepare postsecondary interpreters to better serve the needs of young Deaf adults. Other information shared with the participants included detailed outlines for interpreter handbooks/resource manuals, ideas for staff recruitment, and skill-building exercises.
