Questions to Ask Myself
	What Educational Skills/Training Do l Need to Get in the Career I Want?
	The facilitator will pose a series of questions to workshop participants. The questions will focus on exploring personal interests and career goals.  The specific wording of the questions will need to be altered depending on the intended audience.  Answers generated from the audience should be recorded by the facilitator on a flip chart or white board.
	Sample Questions-
	Students:  What school subjects do you like best/least?
	Parents:  What does your child like to do in his/her free time?
	Guidance Counselors: What are the career goals of the student(s) you are working with?
	Other topics open for discussion may include:
	•the students' hobbies & talents
	•whether the students enjoy being with large groups of people
	•past or present part-time work experiences of the students
