Painted during his tenure with the CETA project at the Henry Street Settlement, this colorful city-scape is a good example of Delaney's reorganization of the architectural geography of Manhattan. Delaney's unorthodox use of perspective conveys a sense of the monolithic architecture that looms over the city.
