A three page fragment of "Memoire sur les equations algebriques ou
l'on demontre l'impossibilite de la resolution de l'equation generale du
cinquieme degre" begins on page 539 of Calinger's source book "Classics in
Mathematics." A footnote says that the fragment is from David Eugene Smith's
Source Book in Mathematics, pages 261-266, so the extract in Smith might
more complete. (less incomplete?)
