edited by Dr. Bruhns Director of the Observatory and Professor
of Astronomy at Leipzig
The copy in my library is in English, published by D. Van Nostrand Co., is
labeled as "Eighteenth Stereotype Edition", and has no date. The library
rubberstamped the date "Aug 14, 1962", apparently the date of acquisition.
The Preface concludes "Leipzig, August 1869 Dr. C. Bruhns"
One presumes that a book published in Leipzig was written in German. Does
anyone know when this book was translated into English?
