I've been studying some Leibniz's logical investigations. But I could
only find many of his papers translated into English. Should it be the
conclusion that I have done nothing? I demonstrated that his numerical
system was complete (It was my thesis in mathematics). Is my proof
invalid because I didn't study the Latin versions? I was able to
understand his system because the editions I studied had organized
Leibniz papers in certain way (their work helped my work, aren't we a
community?). If I had to read all his papers (first I had to learn Latin)
and I should have needed help from the people of Hannover (or maybe had I
to fly there to read the originals?).
