Dear members of the list,
Can anyone tell me more about Humphrey Ditton (1675 - 1715)? I know that
he published in 1706 a book "An Institution of Fluxions? Can anyone give
more information about the book and how much it influenced other
mathematicians during the beginning of the 18th century?
