[HM] interpretation of texts

Romulo Lins asked about authors who write on the interpretation of texts,
truth vs. interpretation and theoretical constructs related to those
questions.

I do not think there is much work done in mathematics about it. An article
to be mentionned (although related to science) is:

Pickstone, J. (1995) Past and Present knowledge in the practice of the
history of science, History of Science, 33, 203-224.

I deal with some aspects of Romulo's problem from a Gadamerian point of
view in:

Radford, L. (1997) On Psychology, Historical Epistemology and the Teaching
of Mathematics: Towards a Socio-Cultural History of Mathematics, For the
Learning of Mathematics, Vol. 17 (1), 26-33.

I hope it may help Romulo!

Luis
