When replying to a posting, PLEASE delete (or snip)
a l l
parts of the posting to which you are NOT alluding (and to all those
which are completely irrelevant)! This practice will save downloading
time, reading time, disc space, and will also provide digest prolixity,
listowner's satisfaction ;-), and other benefits.
Moreover, it is very helpful if you maintain the *subject line* of
the individual posting that you are replying, unless there is good
reason to change it.
PLEASE note that if you wish to reply just to the author of a posting,
you should copy his/her email address out of that individual message.
