Having come back from a short stay at the hospital, I just read the discussion
of the use of naming journals after their founders, etc.: Crelle Journal,
Annales de Gergonne, etc. I wonder that noone mentionned "il Bullettino
Boncompagni" which appeared from 1868 til 1887. Historians should remember it.
The correct title of the journal is
"Bullettino di bibliografia e di storia delle scienze matematiche e fisiche."
