[HM] Euclid's dates

I found in J. H. Zedlers "Grosses vollstaendiges Universal-lexicon",
vol. 10, Leipzig 1735, p.951, that Euclid should have died in 284
before Chr. May anybody know from which source this fantastical
datum is taken? Though concerned with Euclid and the literature on
him for many years, I've never found this assumption.
