(David E. Zitarelli asks for a "book in Spanish that is along the lines
of Struik’s Concise History").
Dear David:
There is a translation of Joseph E. Hofmann's "Geschichte Der Mathematik",
edited by UTEHA (Unio'n Tipogra'fica Hispano Americana), Mexico, 1961
Easier to find is Julio Rey Pastor & Jose' Babini's "Historia de la
Matema'tica", Gedisa, Barcelona, 3rd. edition, 1997.
I think that the first one is closer to Struik's, but, of course, the
second is easier to find and, by the way, (and as far as I know) Rey Pastor
worked most of his career in Argentina.
