Subject: [HM] Query on Weil reference

I believe that Andre Weil somewhere praises Leo Koenigsberger's
biography of C.G. Jacobi, and says it is just the way a mathematical
biography should be written. I thought it was in SOUVENIRS D'APPRENTISSAGE
but I cannot find it there (I have leafed through SOUVENIRS, and used the
index in the English translation, but not re-read it entire). Can anyone
confirm that Weil said this?
thanks, Colin McLarty
