They do not. Neither is there any sound basis for the assumption that he
lived ca. 330-260 nor that he was trained in Athens. I have discussed the
possibility that Euclid lived after Archimedes in my (German) book on
Archimedes which appeared in 1979 and I found some sympathy with my
arguments in Waschkies and in part in Knorr.
