In the book "The crest of the peacock" by George Gheverghese Joseph
you can find some references to both, the Rhind papyrus (most exactly
should be the Ahmes papyrus) and The Moscow papyrus They talk about
several solutions to geometric problems, area of a circle, volume of
certain solids, etc.
Problem 50 of the Ahmes papyrus is about number pi
Problem 41 is about volume of a cylinder.
Problem 10 of the Moscow papyrus is about volume of an hemisphere
I don't exactly remember the others.
