[HM] S.W. Steen

I am looking for information on one S.W. Steen, who wrote a book called
'Mathematical Logic with Special Reference to the Natural Numbers',
published in 1972 by Cambridge University Press. I believe he gives his
title as 'Sometime Cayley Lecturer in Pure Mathematics at Christ's
College'. The book is out of print, but I discovered it at my local
library. My web searches turn up nothing on Professor Steen.

I would also appreciate any information about the book (e.g. was it
well-received, ignored, etc). The entry in the 'Mathematical Reviews' is
in German, and (alas) my German is not so good.
