Which is the 2ndary source you know the proof from?
Is it the ch. 22 (Impossible Cubed Cube, Snowflake Curve, Escher's Drawing
Hands) of M. Gardner's Sixth Book of Mathematical Games from Scientific
American, San Francisco: Freeman, 1971 ?
If no, then have a look at (MG usually, but not always, mentions his primary
sources).
