Here are a couple of additions to the accumulating list of sources on
history of computing devices.

1. Beauclair, W. de, 1912-. Rechnen mit Maschinen; eine Bildgeschichte
der Rechentechnik, [von] W. de Beauclair, unter Mitwirkung von H. Hauck.
Braunschweig, F. Vieweg [1968] 313 p. illus., facsims., ports.
Language: German

The above is the entry from the UC Berkeley Melvyl online catalog. This
book has many large, beautiful, glossy black and white photos--indeed, it's
mostly photos--of the Zuse machines as well as the more familiar ones in
England and the US.

2. A book by Derek de Solla Price which was either mostly or partly about
the role of the development of clocks in the history of computing and other
types of scientific instruments. I think I recall some pictures. I'm away
from my files and can't look up further details. The Melvyl catalog lists
17 titles by him.
