Having the pleasure of being with Eleanor Robson this week at our Math
History Institute, I have learned that many of our mistakes in looking at
ancient mathematical artifacts is that we look at them from our own point
of view (the reader), rather than the author's point of view. We ascribe
mathematics to documents that would never be used by the scribe of the
documents.

With this in mind Eleanor has given a different "author-centered"
understanding of Plimpton 322.
