CALL FOR PAPERS
"Foundations of the Exact Sciences"
(as part of the DVMLG-Conference "Colloquium Logicum 2000")
Germany, University of Dresden, 22-24 September 2000
Deadline: August 1st, 2000
As part of the "Colloquium Logicum 2000" there will be a special
section dealing with the foundations of the exact sciences. Papers
dealing with foundational issues either from a philosophical or a
historical point of view are invited. Conference languages are German
and English. Presentations will be 30 min each, with 10 min of
discussion. The dealine for submission is August 1st, notifications
will be sent before August 15th 2000. For contact information see

The "Colloquium Logicum" is organized every two years by the DVMLG
(German Association for Mathematical Logic and Foundational Research
in the Exact Sciences/Deutsche Vereinigung fuer Mathematische Logik
und Grundlagenforschung der exakten Wissenschaften). This year the
meeting will be held at the Technical University at Dresden, 22-24
September, right after the annual meeting of the DMV (German
Mathematical Society/Deutsche Mathematiker-Vereinigung). Invited
speakers include L. Beklemishev (Proof Theory), D. Foellesdal
(Philosophy of Mathematics), M. Grohe (Finite Model Theory), B.
Poizat (Model Theory) and M. Zeman (Set Theory).
