I have a question about the rediscover processes of Menelaus's theorem.
In Boyer(1968), I read find the following sentence;"This (the theorem of
Ceva) is closely related to the theorem of Menelaus which had been forgotten
but was rediscovered and published also by Ceva in 1678."
If it is true, I would like to trace how Ceva rediscover it.
Could you tell me any information about it?
