We send prospective employees a list of three topics, from which
they can choose one, in order to do a 10-20 minute presentation
during their interview. We select the topics so that technology
would be useful and mention that we can provide equipment as
necessary. We hope that they will either request an calc/overhead
or bring one of their own. We haven't had anyone use a spreadsheet
yet, and I guess if we did I'd have to present the contract to them
immediately!!!
