[MATHEDCC] Attrition

Hi All,
In an earlier message to you all I claimed that education was an
industry where consumers produced their own product. I now claim that in
education many people do not want the product we teachers think they
pay for. If on the first day of your Gen. Ed. math course you offerred a
grade of A to any student who would no longer attend the class, do you
think anyone would leave.
I'm not quite certain what it is but this condition must have something
to do with attrition.
