I haven't "chimed" in here yet since mostly I just read to learn myself as
a math editor, but I felt it was my "duty" to let you know that IPS
Publishing is one of the best math test generator software firms around.
Their latest algorithmic engine comes with the Equation Editor (from Design
Science) already added on to the product. A large number of publishers
utilize this shell, including Worth where I am currently the math editor.
The IPS URL is: www.ipspub.com. This year we've published a new College
Algebra text by Ruud/Shell of Santa Rosa College in No. CA which includes
the IPS w/ Equation Editor test generator in the supplements package. If
you are interested, just send Email directly to my address. (Of course
this listserve is no place for publishers to be "selling their wares," so
"private" Email to me is in order.)

In case the "garble" at the front end of this message is hard to interpret,
my direct Email address is pbanks@worthpub.com
