[MATHEDCC] Clarification on the Dev Math conferenc

In a recent email message to the list, Marcia Tharp expressed her enthusiasm
for the upcoming developmental mathematics conference in Kentucky, and I hope
many others feel as excited as she does. However, I'd like to clarify that
although the conference announcement is on a Web site sponsored by NADE, the
conference itself is independent of NADE or any other group. I believe the
idea is to gather developmental educators IN MATHEMATICS ALONE, so that we can
have a conference all our own, instead of being on the margin at other
conferences such as NADE, MCLCA, CRLA, AMATYC, MAA, and so on. I'm only
reporting on my own interpretation, but if you want to speak with one of the
