there's actually a standard way to differentiate between previously
posted material and the interpolated reply, which is to use some
left marginal indicator such as > or | (as I've done with yours
above). These can be to several levels of depth in complicated
exchanges, with a key at the top e.g. >> = Susan, > = Joe and
so on.

All caps is generally known as "shouting" on the internet and is
discouraged (unless you really need to shout, which should be
infrequently).

These are informal rules of netiquette, very widely accepted. You
are free to push an alternative protocol, but this technique of
capitalizing to distinguish your replies will earn you a lot of
flak from more experienced internet users, I guarantee.
