You can find some very nice freeware for geometry and other things at
http://academy.exeter.edu/~rparris/
This includes the program Wingeom which has the following description at
the site....[I find it has many features that can compete or do better
than Geometer's sketchpad though it is not entirely as easy to use as GS.]

Wingeom (31 March 99) is for high-precision geometric constructions in
both two and three dimensions. Drawings can be highlighted and animated in
a variety of ways.
