We at Brookdale Community College (Lincroft, NJ) use "Winning at Math" by Dr.
Paul D. Nolting (ISBN 0-940287-26-9) in our college support course entitled
"Math Strategies for Success." This course, with the support of this text,
emphasizes improving math study skills, reducing test anxiety, and developing
effective attitudes to improve chances of success specifically in a math
course. The text is very easy to read and students in the course have
responded favorably.
