Hi folks,
After last year's successful contributed paper session on "Innovative Uses
of the World Wide Web in Teaching Mathematics" the MAA is again offering a
similar session in New Orleans in Jan 2001. The sessions will be held on
Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, Jan 10 and 11. The session organizers
are Marcelle Bessman and Brian Smith. We still have a few open slots for
presentations and we are writing to ask you to submit your proposals to us
ASAP if you are interested. If you are using the web in mathematics
instruction we would like to hear from you. The AMA deadline for receiving
abstracts is Sept. 15, 2000 and we need to see your proposals first, so
please send your proposal to Marcelle Bessman at mbessma@ju.edu. We look
forward to hearing from you.
