I strongly recommend you consider an ELMO projection device.

It is a fancy opaque projector (with a ZOOM-able lens and auto focus) that
doubles as an overhead projector.

When I use a graphics calculator in class, they can actually see the
keystroking because my hand and the calculator get projected. Then I can ZOOM
in on the screen. It has its own direct and indirect lighting capability.
