[MATHEDCC] Needed: projects for Multivariate Calc

I am about to start teaching a course in multivariate calculus using the
Harvard Consortium (McCallum, Hughes-Hallett, Gleason et al) text. I am
looking for a project or two that would be good for the students to do in
this course. Any great ideas out there?
