We are using the text for an introductory course for our non-math/science
students. I have found that one can cover about 4 Units (of 4 chapters
each)

We use the first unit, second unit, the third unit which has only two
chapters, and the fourth unit. It makes a nice course. We don't do
anything unexpected. When I teach the course, there is a 50 pt chapter
test for each chapter and a 100 point unit test for each unit.

We are currently using the third edition. I have received a copy of the
fourth edition. It looks like a nice upgrade.
