FWIW: I've had some experience with a few wysiwyg web editors
including: HoTMetaL, Hot Dog, Navipress, Adobe Pagemill and MS Word
6.0.1 (win 95). On the Mac, I prefer Pagemill hands down. Very
friendly with many of the functions available in HTML 4.0. On my
windows machine, I prefer the Word editor since it requires no add'l
software purchase beyond what I own and the wizards allow me to create
an interestingly formatted page very quickly. Pagemill is routinely
available for educators for under $50 US.
