[MATHEDCC] Importing web data

I am trying to set up a Statistics project for next semester and want my students to
import data from web pages.

I am unable to import data where the first row of data is to be column headers and
simultaneously have the first column be names,i.e. baseball team names.

Can anyone tell me how this is done or to point me to directions?
