A whole host of data sets exist (obviously). The Scripps Institute (La
Jolla, California) has tons of data. Any good weather site (e.g. The
Weather Channel) provides what your looking for. Other ideas include tidal
charts for the year which can be gotten from a number of sources. All of
these provide measurements of continuous variables.
