Check out the U.S. Geological Survey site:
http://www.usgs.gov/
It may take some poking around to find what you want (use the search
function), but they have lots of really raw data. For example, you
can find the river levels every 15 minutes for hundreds of rivers
across the country! That's raw data!
Similarly, the Census Bureau has a site:
http://www.census.gov/
with a lot of raw data. Again, there is so much that you have to dig around.
