I think that Bret has the right idea - we should start team teaching
in all the elementary grades, so we can take advantage of
individual teacher's strengths and weaknesses. We can't expect
everyone to excell at math, or think as fondly of the subject matter
as we do! Yet we shouldn't discount these same people as
wonderful elementary teachers whose strengths lie in other
subject areas. Why not combine them in the elementary
classroom? It makes a great deal of sense!
