Position Description:
Two tenure-track assistant professor positions in the Department of
Mathematics beginning August 26, 1998. One position at UW - Fond du Lac and
the other at UW - Manitowoc. A doctorate in mathematics or mathematics
education and evidence of quality undergraduate teaching preferred.
Master's degree required. Teach range of freshman and sophomore transfer
courses. Scholarly activity and service to the university and community
expected. Opportunities exist for innovative teaching, involvement with
instructional technology, distance education, collaborative learning,
assessment of student learning, and interdisciplinary course offerings.
Salary is competive.
