We are in the process of putting together a developmental mathematics course
(i.e. a course whose credits do not count towards graduation) here at York
County Technical College.
My initial model had this course set as pass/fail. This caused some
discussion and concern among my colleagues in other departments.
Please provide your thoughts, comments and philosophies with regard to
pass/fail versus graded courses at the developmental level.
