Hello All,

Last year I conducted a national survey of hand-held technology used by
college faculty in the US. I just never got around to publishing the
results in the United States, but if you are interested in the summary, it
is posted on my newly created home page (still under construction) at
<http://www.math.ohio-state.edu/~elaughba/>. The survey holds no commentary
on whether they are used correctly or not, nor is there any conclusion as
to whether they are good or bad (in reference to Nancy Sattler's recent
post). It is a usage survey.

About the only surprise was the lack of use of data collection devices -
when data can be such a powerful tool for teaching mathematical ideas and
motivating math content topics.
