I thought I would jump in here on a slightly different plane--It may not be
mathematically advisable to buy a lottery ticket, but it couldn't possibly
be more economically unsound than spending the same money for cigarettes,
or other things that are not good for us. At least the dollars spent for
the lottery may produce entertainment for the money that does not
necessarily cause long range health problems.
