If we don't encurage that, newcomers will be afraid to participate.
And I agree that we didn't come up with anything definitive about slope,
but I recall pointing out that it doesn't appear to be the French
monter, to climb, since at least one French text I have uses the word
pente for this value.
I think I like mslope best. (g)
