My union rep informs me that there is a cabal of rich folk (Wal Mart type money)
in Sacramento pushing for accountability. Among their ideas is something that
might be called "grade-based funding:" $100 for each "A" you give, $75 for a
"B" - or some such formula. This is sort of like using the carrot as the
stick.

Oh, and they also want to scrap shared governance. Apparently it doesn't work
at WalMart, so why should the CC's be doing it?
