[MATHEDCC] Preparing to publish on the web

Hi,

I am planning to write some projects in the fall using Maple for my
Calculus III course (and then for differential equations in the spring). I
was hoping to publish these on the WWW. I am on a Mac platform and I use
Netscape as a browser. I know some html and so I can create web pages with
Netscape, Adobe PageMill, or edit the html myself.

My question: what other software should I have so that I can publish the
Maple projects? Is it possible to publish the Maple files themselves? If
so, can those Maple files by used by people on other machines besides the
Mac? Is there a mailing list that would be useful for someone new to
publishing mathematics materials on the web?

I'm sorry if this type of technical question is inappropriate for this
forum. It just seems that there are many people on the list who have
published on the web and I was hoping they could provide some advice.

Thanks,

Murphy
