Students at the remote site should have access to someone at their site =

Hello,
I am a high school teacher, and I would like information from anyone
regarding distance learning. At Kankakee Community College, Calculus I is
taught at the college campus. A television set and video camers is set up
in the room. The camera sends its picture to Herscher High School, where
students are taking calculus. Meanwhile, the students are videoed and the
picture is sent to the classroom television. Thus, students and the =
teacher
can interact through the cameras as if the student was there. Homework =
and
tests are brought to the teacher by the aide, who monitors the high school
students.
If you know of research done in distance learning about the success of the
students off-site, please respond to my message so I can share it with the
Community College. If research indicates that the instructor needs to see
the students in person regularly for questions, please let me know this as
well.
